Downtown Building Improvements!

Last night the CRA approved the following facade improvement grants:

- Wilton Simpson, Simpson Farms, Inc., for property they own at 14145 7th Street, formerly Glades Pottery. The grant request is for $7,500 for new stucco finish, painting, new doors and windows for the building. Once the improvements have been completed Sister's & Company will be moving into this space.

- Next Steps Collective, Inc, for property they lease at 14220 8th Street. The grant request is for $7,500 to add synthetic stone base banding to the front and side of the building and beaded board entry and to clean and stain a stone pattern in the front entry floor.

Several facade improvement projects have recently been completed. Stop by and see what a great job these businesses have done to improve the look of our downtown.

- The Garden Cafe located at 14227 7th Street. The building has been repainted and their logo was painted onto the building by an artist.

- Florida Dog Style & Accountant Andres Olaniel located in the Downtown Commons Plaza. Both businesses used the facade improvement grant to get new signs.

- The Green Apple located at 14232 7th Street used the facade improvement grant for signs.

- Dimensions located at 38053 Pasco Ave. The back side of the building was repaired and painted and they had awnings installed on the front of their building.
